Introducing Vertruen — the experts behind smarter, faster, and more reliable wage compliance solutions.
With increasing scrutiny of how organisations treat their staff — particularly in the wake of high-profile cases underpaying workers — ensuring fairness in employment practices has never been more important.
However, remaining compliant has become increasingly difficult for many Australian businesses.
Enter Vertruen — compliance you can trust.
Vertruen is a small, cohesive team that is passionate about helping businesses carry out best practice when it comes to industrial award and enterprise agreement compliance.
Founded in 2021, our business was born out of a frustration at seeing businesses struggle with the complexities of Australia’s award system.
Our founder, Craig Rollinson, identified a gap in the market where large accounting firms were overcommitting, under-delivering, and failing to properly interpret the complex rules surrounding awards and EBAs. With more than two decades of C-suite experience, Craig knew there had to be a better solution – and he was determined to provide it.
With expertise gathered over years of working in businesses facing similar issues, the team at Vertruen came together, building a proprietary wage compliance solution that enabled them to successfully complete their first audit.
“We knew then”, Craig said, “that we had a scalable solution that could help other businesses facing compliance issues and the goal shifted from one-off audits to working with businesses on an ongoing basis — an approach that is more accurate and less expensive than traditional methods”.
“What’s more, our solution allows us to identify problems in real time rather than discovering them years down the track, which can result in fines, largescale back paying, reputational damage or in serious cases, imprisonment.”
After almost four years in business, that approach has helped our many clients not only remain compliant but also uphold fair treatment of their employees by ensuring they receive the entitlements they are legally owed.
